Victoria Plaza revisited after quite sometime. One of the oldest malls in Davao City built in the 1990′s. It was one of the biggest malls then in the city. You can conveniently shop for affordable and cheap clothes here similar to the tiangge or ukay-ukay.

You can find good shopping finds here. Bought a dress here before for an event at a very cheap price. It was really a good bargain shopping for me. You can save a lot as in close to two thousand pesos if I bought a similar dress I found in a store in another mall. I was really happy because I know I am going to wear that dress probably only once or until there is another formal event I  will attend. *wink*

Found these Christmas wrappers near the cashier counter of Robinsons Supermarket in Abreeza, for sale already just a month away from Christmas day. It just reminds me that I need to think or maybe start buying gifts to people I would be giving gifts to. The little boy is the only one in mind so far that I wanted to start buying gifts for honestly.

I may be just giving cash gifts to my family (if there’s still enough budget) which is more appreciated since they can choose the gift they want to buy. It’s more practical for us actually. Though there was a Christmas a few years before that I wrapped the cash gift literally in Christmas wrappers coz I did not have envelopes that time. LOL!

Tsokolate of Hukad sa Golden Cowrie at Abreeza Mall Davao

This tsokolate is served in a small cup as part of their merienda meals that I was finally able to try today. It is like what I consider a shot of Pinoy style hot chocolate.

I ordered their budbud which I have been actually curious of tasting for quite sometime and it was served with this tsokolate for a price of around P49 (if I remember it right). It is one of their merienda meals served from 2-5PM daily.

If you happen to be in Abreeza and is hungry for some Pinoy style merienda then Hukad is the place to go! We have become a suki of this resto since they opened because the food price is more affordable compared to others when you are looking for Pinoy food and they have unlimited rice that you could take advantage of unless you are on a diet this Christmas and have no control the I guess you have to think twice. LOL!

The Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf Mug | Abreeza Mall Davao

I have been wanting to have this coffee mug to add to my coffee mug collection since we first visited their first ever branch in the city and said to be the first in Mindanao too during its second day. I saw the one they sell on retail is smaller and almost half its size I think so I thought I’ll just wait till they have this on sale. They did sell it but part of a package with the red velvet cocoa power at P599. I did not have the budget yet. I’ll wait for December for extra cash hopefully. Can’t wait Santa!

Name A.K.A. | The Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf in Abreeza Mall Davao Branch

The hubby did not give my name when asked by the CBTL barista after he ordered the ice blended red velvet cocoa for me. He must be feeling “Derek” eh as a hangover after watching the movie Praybeyt Benjamin where Derek was the leading man. I actually heard him say to the barista “Vice Ganda” to which the barista just smiled and really wrote “Angelica” on the cup which I saw only when I took this picture after.

No worries because the baristas at CBTL are kind and customer-friendly. They somehow see us often there since they opened. Forgive the playful CBTL “suki” customers. No harm intended really. Life is just so serious that sometimes we need to smile about something. This actually made me smile that time. No not because I feel like Angelica P. but because this is the first time I had a totally different name on my cup. Thanks to hubby. The others were just often my misspelled name.

Starbucks eco paper bag for food packaging. This is what they gave us when we asked for a plastic actually where we can place the leftover cookie of the lil guy. Forgot they don’t have plastics for food packaging I think.

Starbucks commits to doing more in continuing to search for new ways to reduce the environmental footprint of their disposable cups and food packaging.

Sam Milby, Yeng Constantino and Steps Dancers | Inspire Christmas Concert in Abreeza Mall Davao

This was a night of songs, music, entertainment, and fun brought by the two celebrities Sam Milby and Yeng Constantino to their fans, shoppers in Abreeza and the people of Davao. Plus I won’t forget the screaming, excited fans around us.

It was also, last but definitely not the least, a night of inspiration to think and thank the heroes in our life as this was the message of the concert by the Ayala Malls held at Abreeza.

Red Velvet Hot Cocoa | Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf

My current fave at CBTL since they opened. I love this non-coffee based beverage. This is what I tried when we first wen there a day after they opened last 11-11-11. I will try the ice blended version of this drink. It looks yummy!

Unique Christmas Wreath

Found this unique Christmas wreath decor in gold and silver at a Christmas bazaar in Abreeza Mall Davao that we passed by today. I was not able to ask the prices of these decors so I have no idea actually if it’s worth it or not since the ladies selling these were busy attending to other customers the time we were there.

I am was somewhat interested in the gold one. I was wishing for a gold theme for our Christmas decors though am not sure if I will really go for lavish decors basically because I did not set a budget for it yet. Maybe when there’s an extra from the bonus next month.
